6515--Industry Day - Patient Lifts

The Department of Veterans Affairs is hosting an Industry Day to determine interest and capability of potentially qualified businesses for the supply of Patient Lifts and Slings. The purpose of this acquisition is to establish a reliable supply source for contracted items used by Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. Interested vendors are expected to provide 2-3 lifts for physical demonstration along with a standard bathing sling. The Industry Day will include oral presentations and discussions of the key features of patient lifts and corresponding slings. • The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking Patient Lifts and Slings that allow caregivers to transfer Veterans between a bed, a chair, or other similar resting places. • The acquisition aims to establish a reliable supply source for contracted items used by Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. • Interested vendors are expected to provide 2-3 lifts for physical demonstration along with a standard bathing sling. • The Industry Day will include oral presentations and discussions of the key features of patient lifts and corresponding slings. • The Department of Veterans Affairs is interested in physically viewing Hydraulic Lifts and Electric Lifts accompanied by corresponding slings.
