RFQ for Owner Advisor Consultant for the Pierce County 2002 Jail Renovation and Juvenile Justice Center Projects.

Pierce County is seeking a qualified firm to provide Owner Advisor and Construction Administration services for the renovation of the 2002 Jail and the construction of a new Juvenile Justice Center. The selected firm will provide expert guidance throughout the project, from pre-design to project closeout, and will be responsible for advising the County on alternative delivery methods, construction administration, and third-party scope, schedule, and cost reviews. The firm will also be responsible for developing a project management plan, conducting risk assessments, and providing regular progress reports. The ideal candidate will have experience working with public agencies, particularly in the field of criminal justice and detention facilities, and will have a strong understanding of alternative delivery methods, including design-build, progressive design-build, and general contractor/construction management. • The project involves the renovation of the 2002 Jail and the construction of a new Juvenile Justice Center. • The selected firm will provide Owner Advisor and Construction Administration services. • The firm will be responsible for advising the County on alternative delivery methods and construction administration. • The firm will develop a project management plan and conduct risk assessments. • The firm will provide regular progress reports and ensure compliance with the project schedule and budget.
