RFP #1167406 - Comprehensive Asset Lifecycle Management for County Physical Security Systems

The Montgomery County Government is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive asset lifecycle management (ALM) for its physical security systems. The selected contractor must demonstrate capabilities in areas such as access control systems (ACS), intrusion detection systems (IDS), video management systems (VMS), fire alarm monitoring software integration, preventive maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, installation, and engineering design services. The goal of this solicitation is to ensure that the County's security systems remain reliable, compliant, and cost-efficient throughout their operational life. • The contractor will be responsible for systematic tracking of assets, routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and strategic planning for upgrades and replacements. • The contractor will also be required to integrate engineering services, warranty oversight, and performance monitoring to minimize downtime and extend equipment longevity. • The contractor must support evolving security requirements and ensure adherence to regulatory and technical standards. • The solicitation is reserved for vendors registered in Montgomery County's Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP).
