Description
The United States Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to Adapt Laser Systems, LLC, for the procurement of a cleanLASER CL 1000 Beam Switch Laser System. The system is required for the refurbishment of parts used to build Aircraft Arresting Systems as part of the corrosion control program. The contract will be a firm-fixed price purchase order, and the contractor will be responsible for delivering a turnkey solution, including assembly, installation, and all necessary accessories and spare parts. The system must meet specific technical requirements, including a 900-watt beam source average power, a solid-state diode-pumped pulsed q-switched laser, and integrated vacuum system capability.

• Two beam ways, electronic switching, resonator with second output coupling configured for two fiber optic cables

• Modular components, including resonator, high frequency control unit, power supply, and digital chiller module
The contractor must also provide user manuals, digital and hardcopy, and ensure that the system meets specific safety and environmental requirements.
