Description
The DLA Product Test Center is seeking a contractor to provide an Oxygen Candle Tester, which includes the equipment ensemble, installation, training, and maintenance plan. The scope of work is detailed in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Technical Specifications. The contractor must provide a turnkey test equipment ensemble capable of performing all required examinations and tests as specified in the SOW. The ensemble must be capable of verifying all performance characteristics and byproduct limits of the oxygen candles. The contractor must also provide installation, training, and maintenance support.
• The equipment ensemble must include a standard submarine candle furnace, laboratory scale, pressure transducer, flow meter, thermocouple or thermistor, and data acquisition computer with peripherals.
• The contractor must provide a comprehensive Site Preparation Guide within 15 days of contract award.
• The contractor must provide a minimum of one day of operator familiarization training for up to six individuals.
• The contractor must offer a comprehensive post-warranty support plan, including calibration or replacement of all calibration standards, technical support, repair coverage, and consumables.
