Pre-Qualifications for Wastewater Maintenance Contractors

The City of Sumter is seeking pre-qualifications from experienced firms to perform construction, repair, rehabilitation, and specialty services for wastewater treatment facilities on an as-needed basis. The selected firms will be placed on a Prequalified Vendors List and may be invited to participate in future projects. The scope of work may include treatment plant upgrades and retrofits, mechanical equipment installation, electrical and instrumentation, structural concrete and rehabilitation, process piping systems, and emergency and urgent repairs. Firms must demonstrate their ability to meet the requirements of the RFQ, including having at least five years of experience and a strong safety record. • The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all submissions. • The City reserves the right to waive irregularities and technicalities. • The contract shall remain valid for a period of two years with an option for a 2-year renewal from its inception date. • All work assigned will be issued via task order. • Firms must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
