Design Services- Multiple Campus Geothermal Assessment and Design

The State University of New York at Stony Brook (herein after referred to as "SUNY”) is soliciting qualifications from consultants to provide design services for the assessment and design of geothermal systems across multiple campuses at Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, New York in accordance with SUNY at Stony Brook 2526-123MC RFQ (Request for Qualification) and Exhibits. Qualifications of design firms are requested to complete an assessment of existing site conditions, existing building systems, and existing/future ground sourced heat exchanger (GSHC) geothermal systems to expand the University’s geothermal capabilities with new design services on the Stony Brook and Southampton Campuses to assist in the University’s de-carbonization efforts. The assessment will inform new and/or expanded GSHC systems and design of the same to connect existing buildings to these networks with the necessary building system modifications.
