Description
Fayette County, Georgia is seeking a consultant to prepare a five-year update to the local Comprehensive Plan. The plan will include updates to the land use vision, community goals, and other elements required by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. The consultant will work closely with county staff and facilitate community engagement activities, including stakeholder interviews, public surveys, and steering committee meetings. The final deliverables will include a comprehensive plan document, maps, and other supporting materials.
• The consultant will be responsible for updating the existing comprehensive plan to meet the minimum requirements of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
• The consultant will facilitate community engagement activities, including stakeholder interviews, public surveys, and steering committee meetings.
• The consultant will provide a final comprehensive plan document, including maps and other supporting materials.
• The consultant will work closely with county staff to ensure that the plan is compliant with state and regional requirements.
• The consultant will provide a website for the comprehensive plan, if chosen to do so.
