Notice of Intent for Sole Source - Canon Maintenance Services

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is issuing a Notice of Intent to sole source a contract for Canon Computer Tomography (CT) maintenance services at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany. The contract will be a firm fixed price, single award, sole source contract with firm fixed priced CLINs. The intended contractor is Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. The services will provide schedule/unscheduled preventive maintenance and repairs to radiology equipment. • The contract will be for a period of performance base plus three option years. • The contractor will perform as an independent contractor. • The government will evaluate the quality of service provided but retains no control over the aspects of services rendered. • The contractor shall indemnify the government for any liability producing act or omission by the contractor, its employees, and agents occurring during contract performance.
