Construction Manager at Risk for Air Traffic Control Tower

The City of Boulder City is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction and construction services for a new Air Traffic Control Tower at the Boulder City Municipal Airport. The project includes a 126-foot tower with a 500-square-foot control cab, a base building, and various site improvements. The CMAR will be responsible for constructability reviews, cost estimates, and project analysis, as well as managing the construction and project closeout services. The project is expected to start in February 2026 and be completed by February 2028. • The project has an estimated cost of $12-13 million. • The CMAR will be selected based on their qualifications, experience, and proposed plan for managing the project. • The City encourages DBE participation and requires the CMAR to outline their DBE Performance Plan. • The project will be funded through traditional FAA Airport Improvement Program grants and other sources.
