Description
The Department of State Hospitals‑Atascadero is seeking a qualified automotive service provider to perform diagnostic testing and repair services on its fleet of Ford vehicles. The contractor must supply all labor, tools, parts, transportation, licensing, insurance, and personnel required to complete diagnostics and repairs on an as‑needed basis, maintain detailed service records, and guarantee work. The contract runs for three years, beginning September 23 2026, with performance obligations including rapid response times, warranty coverage, and strict security and data‑privacy compliance.
• Provide diagnostic testing for current and future Ford vehicles (including electric, hybrid, and conventional models).
• Perform approved repairs within 24 hours of request, complete them within 12 business days, and guarantee workmanship for 90 days.
• Supply OEM‑grade parts with a 90‑day warranty, adhere to a maximum 15 % parts markup, and retain documentation for two years.
• Meet extensive insurance, bonding, licensing, and security requirements (DGS‑approved facility, automotive dealer license, seller’s permit, performance & payment bonds, background checks, TB testing, etc.).
