Description
The State of Hawaii Department of Transportation is seeking proposals for furnishing drain inspection and cleaning services on the Island of Oahu. The work consists of furnishing labor, supervision, technical knowledge, skills, materials, and equipment necessary to satisfactorily and safely complete all tasks in providing drain inspection and cleaning services for certain drains on the State Highway System. The project duration is up to 36 months, with an option to extend for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor must maintain an office and base yard facility on the Island of Oahu to be awarded a contract.
Key aspects of the project include:
* Furnishing drain inspection services for cycles 1 and 2
* Furnishing drain cleaning services for cycles 1 and 2
* Performing work satisfactorily in the judgment of the Engineer during the contract period
* Cooperating with the Engineer to facilitate progress and ensure public safety
* Complying with labor and compensation requirements, including paying employees at wages or salaries not less than those paid to public officers and employees for similar work
