Description
The U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo is seeking a contractor to provide preventive maintenance services for the chancery building's standby generator. The contractor will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, repairs, and replacements as needed to ensure the generator is in good working condition. The contract will be for a one-year period with four one-year options. The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to perform the work.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Performing preventive maintenance services according to the manufacturer's recommendations and the attached Statement of Work
• Providing trained and qualified technicians to inspect, adjust, and perform scheduled maintenance
• Ensuring all systems being serviced are in good operational condition when activated
• Maintaining a supply of expendable and common parts on site
• Disposing of toxic substances in accordance with local law and regulations
• Providing emergency assistance for generator support
• Submitting a site trip report after each service visit
• Obtaining necessary licenses and permits required by local law
• Complying with all laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations required to perform the work
