Special Notice of Intent to Award Brand Name Mako

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Wing Inflatable, Inc. for the replacement and installation of sponsons on two small boats, NF-2 and NF-3, on board the NOAA Ship Nancy Foster. The scope of work includes the procurement of two sponsons, associated materials, and installation on both boats. The requested start date of procurement of materials is 1 day after award, with delivery no later than November 30, 2026, and installation to coincide with the ship's winter alongside period, with a requested installation start date of November 30, 2026, and completion no later than January 31, 2027. • The boats are currently on board the NOAA Ship Nancy Foster, homeported in Charleston, SC. • The ship's home port address shall be used for the delivery of materials and location of the installation. • The contractor must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
