Description
The City of Raleigh is seeking a qualified foodservice consultant to provide professional foodservice design and consulting services for the Raleigh Convention Center Expansion. The selected firm will be responsible for programming, designing, specifying, and preparing bid documents for all commercial foodservice equipment and food/beverage service areas within the new facility. The firm will also provide coordination and construction-phase services through equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning. The project includes a new three-floor facility of approximately 322,646 gross square feet, with multiple meeting rooms, flex halls, admin and other spaces. The anticipated construction duration is approximately 36 months, with the anticipated start of construction in November 2026. Key services include foodservice programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding and RFQ support, and construction-phase services. The City is looking for a firm with experience in similar projects, a strong understanding of foodservice design, and the ability to work collaboratively with the City, design team, and other stakeholders.
