Mowing Services at Norwalk Equalization Basin

The City of Des Moines Wastewater Reclamation Authority is seeking quotes from qualified vendors for the provision of annual mowing services for an approximate 115-acre sanitary sewer equalization basin located at 6999 Dubuque Trail, Norwalk, IA. The contractor will be required to mow all areas within the site, excluding the Tower Area, seven times annually. The site must be completely mowed at a minimum of one time per month, and the contractor shall contact the WRA 48 hours prior to mobilizing to the site. The contractor is responsible for verifying whether the site is dry enough to mow prior to each mowing occurrence. • The contract term is for a one-year period, with the option to extend for up to four additional one-year terms. • The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and travel to provide quality mowing services. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to safety and environmental protection. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and indemnify the City of Des Moines and the WRA against any claims or damages.
