Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential qualified businesses to provide two Hobart Model No. HS9-1 Food Slicers or brand name equivalent to the Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System. The equipment is needed for preparing over 1,000 meals daily at the medical center. The contractor shall provide the equipment in accordance with the specified requirements, including heavy-duty construction, stainless steel automatic carriage, and variable speed. The equipment must also meet certain electrical and certification requirements.
• The contractor shall provide two food slicers with the specified characteristics.
• The equipment must be delivered to the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System before July 2026.
• The contractor shall provide a firm fixed price for the equipment, including all costs associated with procurement, shipping, and delivery.
