Construction of Atherton WWTP Blower Replacement Project

The Little Blue Valley Sewer District is seeking bids for the Construction of Atherton WWTP Blower Replacement Project. The project includes the installation of one new aeration blower and appurtenances, a new blower VFD, local control panel, and upgrades to the blower electrical systems. The project also includes interior blower room modifications, modifications of blower intake and discharge piping, and other related improvements. The new aeration blower was procured by the District from Kawasaki Heavy Industries (USA) under a Procurement Contract. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract on a lump sum basis. • The project is located at the Atherton Wastewater Treatment Plant, 21208 E. Old Atherton Road, Independence, MO 64058. • A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. • The bid submission deadline is May 26, 2026. • The project is estimated to be completed within an unknown timeframe. • The District is seeking a single prime contractor for the project. • The bid documents and plans are available for download.
