Description
The County of Glenn is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced entities interested in developing a non-aeronautical parcel located off County Road 200 adjacent to the Orland Haigh Field Airport. The parcel is approximately 127.27 acres and is undeveloped historic tarmac. Proposers must submit one hard copy and one electronic version of their proposal by February 17, 2026. The proposal should include an introductory letter, company information, executive summary, development plan, and other required documents. The County will evaluate proposals based on qualifications, experience, financial capability, proposed site development plan, capital investment, lease terms, and economic impact.
• The parcel is located on the west side of the Airport and does not have access to the aircraft operating areas.
• The proposed development should be compatible with existing airport operations and land uses.
• The County will consider the financial investment of the proposed leasehold improvements in determining the term of the lease and the establishment of the rental rate.
• The improvements developed by the Proposer shall revert to the County upon expiration of the lease term.
• The County reserves the right to postpone the RFP, accept or reject any or all proposals, and negotiate with more than one respondent concurrently.
