Request for Proposals for Engineering Services for Sewer Work related to FY 2026 CDBG Project(s)

The County of Claiborne is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for sewer work related to the implementation of the FY 2026 CDBG project(s). The scope of work includes preparing project cost estimates, plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening, executing construction contracts, and performing construction inspection. The County encourages Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), Woman-owned Business Enterprises (WBEs), and Section 3 eligible businesses to submit proposals. Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. • The Engineer will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates and providing all engineering services through project closeout. • The scope of work includes preparing plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening, executing construction contracts, and performing construction inspection. • The County encourages MBEs, WBEs, and Section 3 eligible businesses to submit proposals. • Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications (40 points), experience (40 points), and capacity for performance (20 points).
