MAJOR REPAIRS BOILER PLANT

The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting bids for major repairs to the boiler plant at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. The project includes renovating and providing new kitchenette, toilet, shower, and locker room facilities. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work. The project has a period of performance from 6/1/2026 to 6/1/2027. • The project includes removal of existing kitchen cabinets, toilet fixtures, and portions of the existing concrete floor slab. • The contractor will prepare selected existing walls and provide waterproofing. • The contractor will provide new walls, doors, frames, hardware, ceilings, finishes, toilet accessories, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical to support all new work. • There are four option items: Highland Tank Containment Area Renovations, Exterior Brick Masonry and Lintel Renovations, Exterior Stair, Wall, and Paving Renovations, and Force Sewer Main Relocation.
