Description
The County of Siskiyou is seeking a Consulting General Contractor (CGC) to provide professional advisory services for the design‑development and construction‑management of a new 27,000‑sq‑ft, three‑story behavioral‑health wellness center in Yreka. The CGC will coordinate with the development team, produce phased cost estimates, assist with permit preparation, develop the general‑contractor RFP specifications, and manage on‑site construction activities through November 2028 – April 2030. The scope includes monthly design‑review meetings, monthly site inspections, change‑order review, and comprehensive reporting, with all deliverables aligned to a total project construction budget of $27.4 million.
• Provide design‑phase cost estimating and constructability feedback at each milestone (conceptual to final construction drawings).
• Assist the County in preparing the future General Contractor RFP, securing permits, and establishing standards/specifications.
• Perform construction‑management services, including monthly site visits, progress reporting, payment certification, and change‑order evaluation during the build phase.
• Deliver regular reports and maintain communication plans with the County and design team, adhering to the schedule from Nov 2026 through Apr 2030.
