Description
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is seeking a contractor to provide repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for their Heavy Lift Transporters (HLTs). The contractor will be required to provide all labor, OEM parts, materials, supervision, technical expertise, and OEM engineering support to repair or perform life cycle maintenance on site when required by the L&HD. The contractor shall utilize only OEM parts or authorized part substitutions and provide training to NNSY personnel on the operation and maintenance of the HLTs.
Some key points about this opportunity include:
• The contract will be for a base period of 12 months with four 12-month option periods.
• The contractor shall provide all OEM qualified technicians, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, technical expertise, and OEM engineering support to repair or perform life cycle maintenance on site when required by the L&HD.
• The contractor shall utilize only OEM parts or authorized part substitutions.
• The contractor shall provide training to NNSY personnel on the operation and maintenance of the HLTs.
