Request for Proposals for Engineering Services for CDBG Public Facilities

The City of Baldwyn is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for a sewer and/or drainage infrastructure project with potential funding from HUD - Community Development Block Grant and/or other federal and state funding agencies. The scope of work includes preparing a preliminary cost estimate, preliminary engineering report, plans and specifications, bid documents, and construction inspection. The City of Baldwyn encourages Minority owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Woman owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit proposals. Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. • The proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked with the language "Proposal for CDBG Public Facilities Engineering Services." • The proposal must address qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance in detail. • The City of Baldwyn reserves the right to reject and/or all proposals. • The contract will be awarded to the qualified individual or firm whose proposal has the highest number of cumulative points issued by the selection committee and determined to be the most advantageous to the City of Baldwyn, price and other factors considered.
