Engineer Equipment Industry Day - Selfridge Air National Guard Base - Slide Deck

This document is a “Special Notice” that publishes the slide deck from the Engineer Equipment Industry Day held on 18‑19 August 2026 at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan. The two‑day event was organized by the U.S. Army’s Product Manager for Engineer, Maintenance and Support Equipment (PdM EMSE) and aimed to inform industry partners about upcoming Army acquisition, contracting, logistics, and testing reforms, as well as future equipment programs. Key topics covered include: • Army Acquisition Reform – faster, cheaper, less bureaucratic procurement. • Contracting Reform – Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) pathways. • Logistics Reform – streamlined materiel release, COTS vs. MIL‑STD strategies. • Testing Requirements – new continuous evaluation model. • Future Procurement Efforts – predictive logistics, medium dozer, hydraulic excavator, family of utility support equipment, motorized heavy grader, heavy scraper, and robotic/autonomous construction equipment (RA‑CE). • Guidance on how industry can engage via solution briefs, pitches, and full proposals under CSO processes.
