Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Airports is seeking bids for the replacement of existing high pressure sodium high mast lights at Kahului Airport and Lanai Airport. The scope of work includes replacing the lights with full cut-off light fixtures to minimize the impact on seabirds and ensure compliance with the Maui County Habitat Conservation Plan and HRS Section 201-8.5 Night Sky Protection Strategy. The project also includes the installation of new lighting systems, wiring, and electrical equipment. The estimated cost of construction is $48,000,000.00.
