Provision of Partner Space in Tacoma Community Hub at the Main Library

The City of Tacoma is seeking a partner to provide free or low-barrier complementary services, activities, or programs on-site for the public in exchange for well-below-market rent. The selected organization will be embedded within the Tacoma Public Library, providing services, entertainment, and enrichment to library patrons and community members. The partner will have access to shared meeting and programming spaces, single-stall restrooms, a tenant break room with kitchenette, and a dedicated ingress/egress allowing operation outside of library hours. The partner will be required to provide at least 40 hours of free programming per year and collaborate with existing community hub partners. • The partner will have access to a 886 sq. ft. space in the library. • The partner will be required to pay a monthly rent of $0.57 per square foot. • The partner will be required to provide proof of insurance. • The partner will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The partner will be required to maintain a safe and healthy environment for library patrons and staff.
