Description
The City of Austin is seeking bids for security access gate services at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The contract will include maintenance, repair, and installation of automatic gates, as well as routine preventative maintenance and other as-needed services. The contract will be awarded to the responsible Offeror submitting the low responsive bid, or best value responsive bid, as applicable. The contract term will be for 36 months, with the option for two 12-month extensions.
• The contract will include maintenance and repair of automatic gates, including sliding and swinging gates with motorized open and close functionality.
• The contractor will be responsible for routine preventative maintenance, repair, and other as-needed services related to automatic gates.
• The contract will be awarded based on the lowest responsive bid, or best value bid, as applicable.
• The contract term will be for 36 months, with the option for two 12-month extensions.
• The contractor will be required to provide an electronic copy of the written Gate Assessment to the Contract Manager or Department Designee within 20 days of contract award.
