Advanced Ground Filter Unit Tape

The US Air Force is seeking to procure 98 rolls of 3M 850 Tape (Deactivation Strip - Brown) for the Automated Ground Filter Unit (AGFU). The AGFU is a unique ground-based particulate sampler that supports DOD and other agencies' air sampling requirements. The tape must be in accordance with drawing G1-47-1611, Rev H, Part No -002. The use of other types of tape will require investigation, testing, and Configuration Control Board (CCB) approval. • The tape is required for the AGFU, which is a base-lined and configuration-controlled system. • The base-line documentation calls for specific tape and process. • The use of other types of tape may require additional testing and approval.
