Self-Supported Electrical Infrastructure Poles

The City of Granbury is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the furnishing, fabrication, and delivery of self-supported steel utility poles and associated appurtenances for the Road Widening Project. The project includes the relocation and accommodation of existing and proposed electric distribution and communication facilities impacted by roadway improvements. The successful proposer shall provide poles designed in compliance with CPS Specification 301-02 and the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), 2023 Edition. The scope of work includes furnishing self-supported steel utility poles, providing factory-installed nameplates, supplying pole appurtenances and accessories, and delivering all poles and appurtenances to a City-designated location or project site. • The project requires the provision of self-supported steel utility poles with specified height, embedment, diameter, wall thickness, and structural capacity. • The successful proposer must submit shop drawings, manufacturer certifications, coating documentation, and a bill of materials for review and approval prior to fabrication. • The project excludes pole installation or erection, excavation, foundations, or concrete, electrical or communication conductor work, traffic control, site restoration, or field coordination.
