Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs requires a qualified contractor to safely pump out approximately 3,200 gallons of E85 gasoline from a fuel storage tank at its Southern Oregon Rehabilitation and Community Care (SORCC) facility in White City, Oregon, and handle all associated hazardous waste disposal. The work includes lockout/tagout procedures, removal of ignition sources, tank opening, ventilation, fuel transfer, solid removal, labeling, manifesting, and transport of the recovered fuel to a recycling/disposal facility, followed by final inspection and acceptance.
• Perform LOTO, remove ignition sources, and ventilate the tank before fuel removal.
• Pump out ~3,200 gal of E85, remove reachable solids, and transport the fuel off‑site for recycling/disposal with proper manifests.
• Complete all safety, spill‑mitigation, and documentation requirements; final inspection by the VA due by November 30 2026.
