WATER WELL CBK-85 CONSTRUCTION

The City of Bakersfield is seeking a contractor to design, drill, develop, test, and complete a new municipal water‑well (CBK‑85) along with all associated civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and SCADA work. The scope includes well drilling to a depth of about 720 ft, installation of a 1,200 gpm vertical turbine pump and 200 HP motor, construction of a pump building, generator foundation, storm‑drain system, concrete pads, fencing, and full electrical distribution with SCADA integration. The contractor must also handle site grading, pavement, curb and sidewalk work, and provide all required permits, testing, and documentation. • Drilling and casing of a 52‑in. bore, gravel pack, annular seal, and well development/testing. • Installation of pump, motor, generator/ATS, and complete electrical/SCADA systems (480 V, 3‑phase, with remote monitoring). • Construction of civil infrastructure: storm‑drain, catch basins, manholes, concrete pads, masonry walls, fencing, sidewalks, and parking areas. • Full documentation, warranties, and compliance with City, Cal‑Water, and NEC standards; completion required within 100 working days.
