RFI - Mission Integration Prime for Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) Series Satellites

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking information from qualified vendors for a potential future procurement of a "Mission Integration Prime" capability to manage and perform mission integration functions for the Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) series satellites. The GeoXO program is a collaborative development and acquisition effort between NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The Mission Integration Prime contractor will provide launch vehicle services, payload processing services, mission operations services, and other functions. • Launch Vehicle Services: The contractor will provide two launch vehicles to carry the GeoXO-1 and GeoXO-2 satellites, launch campaign planning, management, licensing, reviews, operations, and countdown execution. • Payload Processing Services: The contractor will provide a payload processing facility to process the GeoXO-1 and GeoXO-2 satellites, payload processing facility management, planning, reviews, requirements development, and verification. • Mission Operations Services: The contractor will provide mission operations facilities, antennas, ground systems, and personnel to operate the GeoXO-1 and GeoXO-2 satellites from lift-off through 10 years of on-orbit operations for each satellite. The contractor will also provide anomaly investigation and recovery services, special engineering analysis tasks, and end-of-life de-commissioning and disposal of the GeoXO satellites.
