The Associated Students of Montana State University (ASMSU) are seeking a qualified vendor to design, program, and safely execute a professional drone‑light show for the university’s Homecoming festivities. The primary performance is scheduled for the evening of September 25 2026, with an additional halftime show on September 26 2026. The contractor must provide a minimum of 300 drones, secure all FAA waivers, create custom content that reflects university branding, and supply a backup plan for adverse weather. The award will be based on the lowest responsive bid that meets all technical, safety, and regulatory requirements, and the contract may allow for additional shows over a potential seven‑year term. • Provide a choreographed drone light show (300‑drone minimum) for MSU Homecoming on 9/25/2026 (and an optional halftime show on 9/26/2026). • Obtain all necessary FAA authorizations, maintain licensed pilots, and deliver a complete safety and contingency plan. • Submit detailed technical proposal, references, W‑9, insurance certificates, and register in SmartBuyMSU; award will be to the lowest qualified bid. • Contract may extend to additional shows during a 7‑year IDIQ period, with pricing based on the initially awarded rates.
