Request for On-Call Electrical Installation, Maintenance and Repair Services.

The San Bernardino County Department of Public Works – Special Districts is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide on-call electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services. The services include installation, maintenance, and repairs of existing electrical systems, replacement of building transformers, thermal testing, vibration testing, motor control centers, network wiring, termination of ethernet, and fiber wiring, and other related miscellaneous services. The contract period will be for a maximum of 5 years from the effective date of the agreement. The county estimates a budget of $500,000 per contract term for each contract awarded under this RFP. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to perform the services. • The contractor must have experience in providing similar services. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonding. • The contractor must provide a detailed proposal outlining their approach, methodology, and pricing. • The contractor must attend a mandatory proposal conference. • The contractor must submit their proposal electronically through the county's electronic procurement network or via hard copy with an original signature.
