Junk Vehicle Abatement

The City of Sandy is seeking a vendor to provide junk vehicle abatement services on private property on an as-needed basis. The services may include towing junk vehicles to the company's impound yard, storing the junk vehicles, and releasing them to the vehicle owner. The vendor must have a certified state impound yard within Sandy City and the ability to coordinate with the City to determine the appropriate location and time for removal of junk vehicles. • The vendor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations for the services provided. • The vendor must have the ability to release vehicles to owners Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, except on Utah holidays. • The vendor's impound yard must have video surveillance of the yard. • Equipment used in the performance of the contract must be in satisfactory mechanical condition and be the proper type of equipment for each job consistent with industry standards.
