Description
The San Bernardino County Transitional Assistance Department is seeking bids for a Class C RV Mobile Outreach Vehicle Storage Space. The contract will be for three years with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The storage facility must be within a 20-mile radius of 265 East Fourth St, San Bernardino, CA 92354, and provide a shared-use area for temporary staging of equipment and supplies. The facility must also have security features such as an enclosed/gated location, 24-hour video security, and on-duty guards.
Some key requirements for the storage facility include:
• Indoor or covered facility that fits a vehicle up to 12’ x 27’ x 9’ in size
• Electricity to charge generator battery (50 amps)
• Compressed air
• Wash and detail bays
• Public bathrooms
• Liability coverage/insurance
The bidder must provide pricing for the three-year period, including any applicable discounts for long-term commitments or for leasing space for multiple county RV units.
