Medical Center Downtown (MCD) Coffee Cart

The University of Iowa is seeking a supplier to provide coffee, beverage, and prepackaged breakfast items via a coffee cart at the Medical Center Downtown facility. The successful supplier will be expected to provide an onsite coffee cart, sell items directly to university staff and patrons, and operate the cart approximately 12 mornings a month. The supplier will be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, and staffing necessary for the operation of the coffee cart. The university will provide designated space, utilities, and coordination of garbage and recycling removal. • The supplier must provide a detailed proposal, including a design and layout of the proposed cart, implementation timeline, and menu items. • The supplier must comply with all state and federal laws, including HIPAA and GLB. • The supplier must provide audited financial statements and annual reports for the previous two years. • The supplier must agree to the university's Business Associate Agreement and Professional Services Agreement.
