Description
The City of Augusta-Richmond County is seeking a qualified firm to provide inmate medical services for the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. The selected firm will be responsible for providing medical care to inmates at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center and the Richmond County Correctional Institution. The firm must have experience in delivering medical services in a correctional setting and must be able to demonstrate a history of passing accreditation inspections. The contract will be for a term of one year, with options to renew for up to four additional years. The firm will be required to provide a range of medical services, including routine medical care, emergency medical care, and mental health services. The firm will also be required to maintain accreditation by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
