Solicitation Notice for Fresh Milk & Dairy Products for military customers located in the Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and D.C. Zone (Andrews AFB, Dover AFB, Fort Meade, Fort Myer and VA, MD, DC Hospitals)

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking a contractor to supply fresh milk and dairy products to military customers in the Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and D.C. zones. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with three tier periods. The contractor will be required to maintain electronic catalogs, source and purchase milk and dairy items, and deliver them to DLA Troop Support customers. The contractor must also comply with the Buy American Act and ensure that all food items are produced and manufactured in the United States. • The contract will be an indefinite quantity contract, with a guaranteed minimum of 10% of the estimated dollar value for the first year. • The contractor must have the physical, logistical, and financial resources to serve as a commercial distributor of milk and dairy items. • The contractor will be required to interface with the Subsistence Total Order & Receipt Electronic System (STORES) and support EDI transactions. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Buy American Act and the Economic Price Adjustment clause.
