Commingled Recycling Processing and Marketing

The City of Tacoma is seeking a contractor to process and market approximately 14,000 tons of commingled recyclables collected annually from households, multi-family buildings, and businesses. The contractor will be responsible for operating a recycling processing facility capable of handling a minimum of 15,000 tons per year of materials. The contract term will be for an initial five-year period with options to renew for up to twenty years. The contractor must demonstrate experience and qualifications in recycling processing and marketing, as well as financial stability and resources to meet the requirements of the contract.
