The City of Meriden seeks a qualified consulting firm to conduct a comprehensive audit of motor vehicles operating within municipal limits that are registered out‑of‑state or not registered at all, in order to identify taxable vehicles, update the Grand List, and recover lost property tax revenue. The contractor will collect and analyze data from public and proprietary sources, investigate each case, maintain a detailed database, prepare correspondence, support assessments and appeals, and provide regular progress reports through a secure online portal.
