Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 8, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole-Source contract to CareFusion Solutions, LLC for BD Alaris Maintenance Services. The contract includes software management services for the Alaris Infusion System server and software components, internet, webinar and on-site training and clinical education, support ranging from remote monitoring of the Alaris Systems Manager to technical support for the Alaris Infusion System, and collection of data and providing analytics tools and services. The justification for this non-competitive solicitation is due to CareFusion LLC being the only entity with authorized access to the proprietary software and technology.
• The contract will be for a period of 5 years with an estimated total contract value of $166,478.70.
• The services include remote and onsite support, continuous 24/7/365 technical assistance, and all essential software updates throughout the entirety of the contract period.
• The contract is for the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) and is intended to ensure uninterrupted patient care and maintain compliance with manufacturer specifications.
