Teacher Certification Reimbursement

The purpose of this request is to provide third-party payments directly to NBPTS for services to develop and administer national assessments for candidates seeking a National Teaching certificate issued by NBPTS and qualified to receive the NYS Albert Shanker Grant. SED will provide third-party payments directly to the contractor (NBPTS) annually for Albert Shanker grantees up to $1,900 per grantee to be applied directly to the respective accounts of the identified teacher/candidate recipients of the NYS Albert Shanker Grant. This notice is published in accordance with State Finance Law requirements for procurements exempt from advertising. No competitive solicitation is being issued.
