FY22 CRISI- Darby Township PA Main Street Crossing

The FY22 CRISI- Darby Township PA Main Street Crossing grant will fund updates and improve safety at the Main Street–CSX rail line at-grade crossing in Darby Township. The project includes installing new gates, lights, and surfacing and drainage improvements. Additionally, proposed curb bump-outs at the intersection of Main Street and Sixth Street will feature ADA ramps, signal poles, and pedestrian gates for the railroad crossing. • The grant is funded by the Department of Transportation - Federal Railroad Administration. • The estimated funding for the grant is $1,000,000. • The grant is open to county governments. • The project aims to improve safety at the Main Street–CSX rail line at-grade crossing. • The grant will fund a comprehensive series of improvements, including new gates, lights, and surfacing and drainage improvements.
