The State of California Department of Water Resources (Delta Field Division) is seeking a single prime contractor to provide on‑demand rental of light construction equipment for water‑related projects across multiple counties. The contractor must maintain a rental yard within 30 mi of the O&M Center in Byron, CA, supply CARB‑compliant equipment, and be able to deliver equipment within 48 hours (4 hours for emergencies) 24/7. Rates for each equipment line‑item, travel‑time compensation, and repair‑damage labor (capped at $85/hr) must be submitted on the bid sheet; all rentals under 24 hours are billed at the daily rate. The contract term is three years, with an anticipated start of 02 Oct 2027, and the bid deadline is 25 Sep 2026.
