Description
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is soliciting bids for the establishment of a term limit agreement to perform and document annual inspections for various cranes and lifting equipment in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, the Automotive Lift Institute American National Standards (ALI), and applicable manufacturer specifications and standards. The contractor shall provide inspection and certification services for cranes and lifting equipment of various makes and models at multiple locations throughout the Southcoast, Northern, and Central Regions of Alaska. Key responsibilities include performing and documenting annual inspections, providing comprehensive inspection reports and certificates of inspection, and conducting dielectric testing for bucket trucks.
• The contractor must have prior experience in providing similar services.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and personnel to perform the inspections.
• The contractor must submit a proposed inspection schedule for approval by the Project Manager.
• The contractor must ensure that all inspections are conducted during the period of May 1 through September 30 and completed within three months of the date inspections commence.
