Wayne RESA Fiber Connection

The Dearborn Public Schools is soliciting bids for the connection of its self-provisioned Fiber Optic Wide Area Network (WAN) to Wayne RESA. The request is for bids for one, two, and three-year pricing, with options to extend the contract to up to five years. The contractor must provide all needed coordination, supervision, labor, materials, and equipment consistent and compliant with all codes and ordinances and accepted standards. The contractor must also provide consistent connectivity of at least 10 GB and coordinate with District and RESA staff to properly configure and test the connection prior to going into production. Key points to consider: * The contractor must be a licensed contractor in the State of Michigan * The contractor must include its SPIN in the bid * The District intends to apply for e-rate funding * The contractor must warranty the materials and labor for the length of the contract * The contractor must comply with all Local, State, and Federal laws, ordinances, regulations, and licensing requirements bearing on the work, services, or items provided
