Pierson Street Rehabilitation

The City of Santa Rosa is seeking a qualified contractor to fully rehabilitate a section of Pierson Street (from West Third Street to Santa Rosa Creek). The work includes complete replacement of aging water, sewer, and storm‑drain utilities, removal of existing compacted‑gravel roadway, and reconstruction of the pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalks, ADA‑compliant ramp, and associated traffic control and signage. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and will be performed under a sealed‑bid (IFB) process. • Replace 8‑in. water main, 8‑in. sanitary sewer main, and storm‑drain infrastructure (including manholes, catch basins, and elliptical RCP). • Demolish existing pavement, install new hot‑mix asphalt surface, concrete curb & gutter, sidewalks, and ADA ramp. • Provide full traffic‑control plan, signage, striping, and coordinate utility relocations (PG&E gas, AT&T communications, USPS mailboxes). • Required bonds (10 % bid security, 100 % performance/payment bonds) and compliance with California DIR prevailing‑wage, CWA, and insurance requirements.
