Testing and Air Balancing Services

The Texas A&M University System is seeking statements of qualifications from companies with expertise in testing and air balancing services. The selected companies will be included in a pool to provide these services for construction projects managed by the university system. The services required include testing, adjusting, and balancing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as providing reports and recommendations for improvements. The companies must have experience working with institutions of higher education and must be able to provide services in a timely and cost-effective manner. • The scope of work includes attending pre-construction conferences and meetings, providing a system balanced according to industry standards, and providing typewritten reports of recorded data. • The companies must be able to work under the direct supervision of the university system's staff and must be able to provide all necessary equipment and personnel. • The university system reserves the right to select multiple companies for the pool and to negotiate the terms of the agreement with the selected companies. • The companies must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to subcontracting and insurance.
